Koh Tao

Koh Tao means turtle island, an island located on the east coast of Sura Thani beach in Sura Thani province, which is also near two famous islands, Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Samui. Koh Tao is a popular destination for divers, adventurers and tourists who love to explore the ocean with its natural beauty and rich marine ecosystems both on land and underwater, colorful coral reefs, and clear water. Some spots not to be missed when coming to Koh Tao:
Visit the beautiful small island of Nangyuan, a small paradise where you can freely swim in the water with a beach that cannot be more beautiful and snorkel to see the brilliant coral reefs and thousands of fishes swimming around.
Conquer Mango viewpoint is an interesting activity not to be missed for tourists who love climbing. You will have to go through a rather complicated route but you will find it worth when reaching the top of Mango and enjoy the panoramic view of Koh Tao from above.
And of course, it is indispensable to swim and snorkel in Koh Tao, explore the extremely beautiful ecosystem under the ocean and relax on the long white sandy beach under the bright golden sunlight.

From Bangkok, visitors can choose to take a plane, train or car to Chumphon and then transfer to the Lompraya Catamaran ferry terminal to Koh Tao. If you take the train, the Lompraya Catamaran ferry terminal is very near Chumphon train station.
Koh Tao is also a culinary paradise with many famous restaurants with traditional Thai dishes as well as European dishes, many beautiful coffee shops that you will regret if you do not visit once. The best time to visit Koh Tao is from July to August, when the weather is cool and pleasant. In addition, the peak season in Koh Tao is Christmas and New Year, in November there will be a lot of rain, but the price of services and meals will be cheaper as well as the number of visitors will be less crowed.
