Koh Samui

Ko Samui (or Koh Samui, also often locally shortened to Samui) is an island off the east coast of Thailand, about 700 km south of Bangkok and 80 km from the eastern coastline of Southern Thailand.

Spreading over a 247 km² area, Samui is the second-largest island in Thailand and the largest island in the Chumphon Archipelago. The best time to visit Samui is from December to the next February, which is the dry season. The weather is comfortable, and there is almost no rain. But it is also the high season, so the island would be more crowded than usual.
