Halong Bay with stunning limestone karst landscape. All of the tourists are impressed by the spectacular beauty of nature of the area and that is the reason why it attracts the increasing number of tourists coming here every year. Planning a trip to Ninh Binh and especially Trang An, a boat tour is an interesting experience that you should not miss. While doing a boat ride (directed by a rower who sits at the back of the boat), you can both contemplate the caves and temples along the way and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the countryside. Visiting Trang An, there are 3 boat routes and each of which will take you to different sites in the complex. You can consider choosing the most suitable route among them basing on your budget of time and interest. Besides doing the sightseeing, people come here to pray for a good year ahead as well.

With the typical tropical weather, you can visit Trang An any time in the year. However, the most ideal time is when Trang An festivals take place after the Lunar New Year, from January to March (lunar calendar). Additionally, if you are interested in the golden color of the ripe rice fields among pure green caves, coming here in May and June.
You can easily combine visiting Trang An with other sites nearby including Bai Dinh Pagoda, Tam Coc, Bich Dong Pagoda, Hoa Lu ancient capital, or Thung Nham Bird Garden when doing the Ninh Binh tour which is daily-organized by
