Ngwe Saung

Located 48 km west of Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar, Ngwe Seung is a Myanmar’s rising-star beach resort. Climate, best time to visit

In Ngwe Seung, the precipitation is different between rainy season and dry season, it has a hot summer. The rainy season run from June to October. In dry season, there is almost no rain. From Ferbuary onward, the weather is quite hot and maybe uncomfortable, so if you have a plan to visit Ngwe Seung that time, prepare to deal with the temperature is necessary.

The best time to visit Ngwe Seung beach is from November to the next January.

How to get in and out

There is almost no traffic in Ngwe Seung, but there are buses from Yangon to there. You can get to Yangon first, then jump on a bus from Hlaing Thar Yar bus station to get to Ngwe Seung village.

To travel around Ngwe Seung, there are motorbike taxis, or you can just wander on foot.

After visiting Ngwe Seung, you can come back to Yangon by bus for further travel in Myanmar.
