During March, the temperature in the North is getting warmer but remains comfortable at an average of 20 °C. In Hanoi and neighbouring areas, the weather is mild with a clear sky, not too cold or hot and maybe warmer by noon, though sometimes, a misty haze or drizzle is not unusual, especially in coastal areas. In the far northern mountainous areas, the climate is dry and cooler offering excellent trekking and adventurous activities.
