New Year’s Eve
Though not important as the Lunar New Year, the 1st of December is a public holiday in the Vietnam and workers have a day off from work.

In the North of Vietnam, all places are expected to be dry though the temperature in general is relatively low an on the mountainous areas in particular so, warm clothing is needed. Also, due to monsoon, foggy air or light drizzle is expected especially from the second half of the month.
Apart from main destinations like Hanoi and Ha Long Bay and the other places around the Red River Delta, the mountainous areas also promise good trekking and discovery. Anyway, if you are a photo hunter, you should check the weather well in advance as the view could be sometime disappointed.
Places in the Centre such as Hue, Hoi An should be good to visit though beaches in Quy Nhon and Nha Trang are not so warm to enjoy swimming. Good condition happens throughout the South of Vietnam promising good explore. If you are beach lover then all beaches in the south from Mui ne down to Phu Quoc are absolutely good choices.
