Da Nang is in the top 10 improved airports in the World

Da Nang has been ranked among the top 10 most improved airports in the world, and the best regional airport in Asia for the year 2023. Da Nang is the only representative from Vietnam to be honored at The World's Best Airports of 2023 by Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization. The two categories in which Da Nang is mentioned are the third most improved airport in the world and the 10th best regional airport in Asia. The best regional airport in Asia category is for airports that primarily serve domestic flights within the region, and can also handle a small number of continental flights, but the main focus is still on short-haul flights.

Skytrax's annual awards aim to honor airlines, airports, and associated services. The evaluation criteria for the awards are based on the satisfaction of passengers from 100 countries, as well as industry professionals, with the airport's operational efficiency, customer service, and infrastructure over a period of 12 months. The survey and awards are independently announced, without any dependence on the control or influence of any airport or airline. The Skytrax awards ceremony, known as the Oscars of the aviation industry, will take place in June in Paris, France.

In addition to the above awards, The World's Best Airports of 2023 also presents awards in more than 20 other airport categories, including: the best airport in the world (Singapore), the cleanest airport (Tokyo Haneda, Japan), the highest-rated staff (Seoul Incheon, South Korea), the best airport hotel (Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Singapore), and the most family-friendly airport (Istanbul, Turkey).

Skytrax
