Wat Arun at Sunset, Bangkok, Thailand

Take an early visit to the famed Wat Pho to observe the serene morning chanting ritual of the monks, an incredible start for the day. This temple is considered highest among the six first-class Royal temples in Thailand, housing the largest collection of Buddha images in the country and is home to the famous 46 m long reclining Buddha.
Wander around the temple ground for sightseeing and admiring the huge gold-plated reclining Buddha with auspicious symbols on the feet.
Continue to the majestic Royal Grand Palace, Bangkok’s most important landmark which used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand and is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. Nearby is the Wat Phra Kaew, popularly known as the Temple of Emerald Buddha, which houses the mysterious Buddha image that is meticulously carved from a single block of jade and deeply venerated as the country's palladium.
Later today you will take a long-tail cruise down the Chao Phraya River for a wonderful discovery into the winding ‘khlongs’ (canals) of Thonburi, another world away from the chaotic streets of the capital where you feel like on an Indiana Jones’s adventure through the wild “Venice of the East”, passing lush green dotted with gilded temples on both banks, wooden stilts houses right on water, bustling local markets and vendor boats serving up Thai delicacies. Life along these ‘khlongs’ has long been an inseparable part of the Thai lifestyle and has hardly changed over the years.
On your way back, do not miss the chance to take great photos of the Wat Arun – the Temple of the Dawn, an impressive landmark of Bangkok sparkling in the background of neon lights.

Evening is at your leisure.
