4 days discover the whole Bangkok

If you are traveling to Thailand from far away, you might want to combine it with other Southeast Asian countries like Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar… But how long should you stay in each place? It depends on how much time you have. If you only have a week or less for Thailand, you can spend 2 or 3 days in Bangkok. If you have more time, you can stay 4 days in Bangkok and enjoy sightseeing, shopping and learning about Thai culture. A 4-day 3-night Bangkok tour will let you see Thailand’s past and present. You should also visit Ayutthaya or the River Kwai to understand Thailand better.

If time permits, Bangkok has plenty to explore with the detailed itinerary below

Day 01:

You can start your exploration of places like Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, and Wat Pho. There are many tours around the city and temples every half-day and this is a convenient way for you to explore these places.

Experience food at a Thai restaurant or street food stalls. Relaxing afternoons with the shopping experience at shopping centers like Siam Paragon, Central World, or MBK.

In the evening, go to Siam Niramit, where impressive performances are showing the cultural history of Siam. You can go to the go-go bars at Patpong market to both shops and enjoy the Ladyboy Show of transgender people or spend the evening watching boxing matches.

Day 02:

You will start the second day on a tour of the wooden houses, the Jim Thompson house to explore Thailand's cultural and artistic heritage (Jim Thompson House is one of the famous museums in Thailand). Bangkok is known as the "Venice of the East" and trips to Khlongs (canals and ditches) will help you see this feature.

In the afternoon, enjoy a cup of tea at the 5-star Riverside hotel or experience cucumber sandwiches at the Authors Lounge, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and see the bustling atmosphere of the Chao Phraya River. The Sunset culinary cruise through Wat Arun (one of the beautiful views along Chao Phraya) will end the second day's exploration.

Day 03:

The 3rd day's journey is visiting places in the city center to explore Bangkok. The first is Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siamese which was destroyed by the Burmese, or relax on a cruise along the Ayutthaya River. If you're still not satisfied, head to Khao Yai National Park, the Kwai River in Kanchanaburi, and the Floating Market.

Go to the floating market and you can explore the space around the river like fruit gardens and pagodas, by participating in the Cycling Tour but perhaps you will find it more amazing to explore on your own. Another option is to go to Samphan zoo, Safari World, or the largest crocodile farm in the world.

And spend the afternoon at the spas in Bangkok for massages and beauty treatments. Then enjoy dinner at high-class international restaurants.

If your kids don't like the bustle here, take them to the Dusit Zoo to have fun with the monkeys or watch fish at Siam Ocean World. Besides, watching movies, bowling, singing karaoke are ideal choices for the whole family.

At sunset, you can enjoy the green space at Lumpini park (where many people frequented to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city), or go to Chinatown (Chinatown), stroll through the alleys, buy your favorite items and enjoy swallow nest soup.

Experience for the last night is visiting the night streets of Silom, RCA, or Sukhumvit. Or go to the high places to have relaxing meals with relatives. The Sky Bar on the 62nd floor of Sate Tower is where you can watch the city space and sip Martinis cocktail.
