This morning you will spend time to explore the Angkor Thom, the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire with visits to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple that consists of 54 towers featured with multitude of Buddha’s serene and mysterious smiling faces, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Following is the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm, the famous sights known in the movie ‘Tomb Raider’ by Angelina Jolie, with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing over stone foundations of the temple’s structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces.
In the afternoon you will enjoy our discovery of Angkor Wat, the largest religious monuments in the world, symbol of the Great Khmer Empire, with its five impressive towers representing the 5 holy peaks of the Mount Meru.
Later of the day you will take a fun tuk tuk cruise around the Siem Reap town to catch common scenes of local life and get a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for your journey safety, prosperity and happiness.
Evening is at your leisure.

Breakfast is at the hotel then drive out the town to visit to the Banteay Srei that was constructed in the late 10th century and is a masterpiece of religious architecture and carving with its no space left undecorated with unique and wonderful bas-relief on pink sandstone. Along the way there you will make stops to visit the local village of Preah Dak where you have chance to learn something about local life and enjoy local interaction, the Banteay Samre temple which is adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu and Krishna legends.
In the afternoon you will explore the Preah Khan temple complex, built by King Jayavarman VII to honor his father, right on the site of his victory over the invaders. The name of the temple means ‘Holy Sword’ derived from the meaning of the original ‘the Holy City of Victory’. This huge temple complex was served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks.
Continue to Neak Pean, a small island temple located in the middle of the last Baray, representing Anavatapta, a mythical lake in the Himalayas whose waters are thought to cure all illness.
Back to the hotel and remainder of the day is at your leisure.

This morning you will take a tour to visit the Tonle Sap Lake - the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia that sometimes reach to over 150 km in length.
Here you will take a boat cruise off the beaten track to explore the natural splendor and visit floating fishing village to learn about typical traditional life style of people on the water and to know how important the lake is with the Cambodian people.
If time permits, you will also visit the local market and Artisan D’Angkor workshop where young Cambodian learn and work to maintain the traditional arts.
Transfer to Siem Reap International airport for flight to onward destination.

Tour price: Travel Authentic Asia focus on quality and affordable package prices with the best value. The price is based on number of traveler taking the trip, the accommodation category you wish to stay, the mode of transportation, meals provided….
Payment: A deposit of 30% of total price is needed to initiate the tour booking after the itinerary is finalized. The balance for the trip is due 15 days prior to your arrival.
Arrival and departure flights: You are advised to make your own booking for international flights from/back your home country. This allows you to determine better the travel time frame, budget and to deal with insurance claim when needed. Travel Authentic Asia team will base on your flight schedule to work out the best itinerary for you or/and to modify the itinerary to get it matches.
Travel documents: You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. Travel Authentic Asia accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
Travel insurance: It is your responsibility to get your own international travel insurance and read the insurance policy before you travel and ensure that the insurance scheme provides with the requisite level of cover.
