Da Nang reopens international fireworks festival

The first Danang International Fireworks Competition was held on March 29, 2008, on the occasion of the city's liberation, for the first time, people were able to watch a fireworks show on the background of music. In 2017, the city changed the name of the contest to a festival and gave the right to invest in a business.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, DIFF is a large-scale event that has been held for 10 periods, becoming a unique international festival in Vietnam, contributing to the title of Da Nang as "Asia’s leading event-festival destination”. The festival has also made a mark with international friends, attracting and extending the stay of guests. Due to the impact of Covid-19, this festival has been interrupted from 2020 to 2022.
