Even if you've been to the Temple of Literature during the day, going at night is a completely different experience. As soon as you walk through the main gate, it feels magical. They have performances of traditional music at the Constellation of Literature Pavilion (Khue Van Cac), the Laureate Stelae Garden (Vuon Bia Tien Si) honors scholars, and the Great Success area (Dai Thanh) uses virtual reality (VR) to show what the ancient Temple’s examination hall was like. Visitors can even try writing in Chu Nom, an old script. Stuart Cook from the UK said, "I didn't expect to see the Temple of Literature like this, and trying virtual calligraphy was fun. I learned a lot about the Temple's history, and the musician's performance was great."

The main part of the tour is Thai Hoc Hall, talking about "The essence of education." The front of Thai Hoc Hall turns into a big screen using lights and 3D-mapping to explain Confucianism and the history of Vietnam’s imperial university.

Le Xuan Kieu, who runs the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature, said, "The technology shows the history of Vietnamese education and highlights our love for learning, respect for teachers, and appreciation of talent. Using tech makes these values feel more real."
