This morning you will have a city tour to explore some Hanoi's highlights. Visit the Ho Chi Minh memorial complex including the mausoleum and his humble stilt house to learn about a big Vietnamese character, his influence to the Vietnam modern history. Nearby is the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong, one of the most iconic architecture in Hanoi. Continue with a discovery to the Temple of Literature, the first university in the country where, for incredible more than 700 years, Vietnamese intellectuals were educated and names of those received Doctor Laureate still remain on huge stone steles that stand on turtle’s backs.

This afternoon you will have a test ride through back streets of Hanoi to the stunning country villages nearby.

Depart from Hanoi and travel west by bus to Luong Son. Jump up your saddle and cycle past spectacular karst cliffs and lush valleys along the way to Cun Pass. Enjoy the breath taking view and continue up and down hills on scenic road dotted with traditional villages and green farms with a support bus is available at any stage to pick you. Mai Chau, a beautiful valley surrounded by high mountains is home to beautiful White Thai minority villages and is the closest place from Hanoi to enjoy the typical hill tribe culture.

Take a walk or a ride around the village for sightseeing and perhaps join with local in their farming work. This evening, after an excellent home meal you will take part in a local dance and music performance. Overnight in local house on stilts.

Say goodbye to your local hosts and get transfers to Man Duc where you will start your ride through lush paddy fields and jagged limestone escarpments of the region to the ancient rainforests of Cuc Phuong National Park. This is the foremost and largest national park in Vietnam and is home to rich fauna and flora system.

Paddle through the jungle along the little road to the NP centre; visit to the Cave of Historic Men before check in bungalow and enjoy your sleep in the sounds of the jungle.

Get transferred by bus to the gate of the NP. Visit to the Primate Rescue Center where endangered monkeys from illegal trade and hunting are rescued and cared before they will be released back to their jungle home.

Continue on the ride along Hoang Long River dyke to ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the place famous with limestone mountains on spectacular country scenery. Visit the ancient temples dedicate to great Kings of the Dinh and the Early Le Dynasty from 10th and 11th century. This evening you will take overnight train to Hue. Overnight on train in AC soft sleeper cabin.

Arrival in Hue, Vietnam's former capital and treasure of royal past. For more than hundred years, Hue was home to Vietnamese kings and their families. Today, this relax town bears in it innumerable royal relics and ancient architectures that harmoniously combined with natural beauties to create a unique heritage.

Cycle across the Perfume River to Hue's Imperial Citadel, where you will explore this sprawling complex, rich with history, on foot. Continue your ride along the Perfume River bank to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda with its seven storeys Phuoc Duyen tower, a symbol of Hue and then cycle out along stunning country landscapes to the Mausoleums of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh.

Back to Hue centre in the afternoon and this evening enjoy the delicious flavors of Hue cuisine at a local restaurant.

Get bus transfer to Lang Co Beach where you will enjoy lunch and swimming on pristine beach before taking a big ride up to conquer the Hai Van Pass and be rewarded with stunning coastal view. Declared as a World Heritage Site, Hoi An is a quaint little town lies on the bank of Thu Bon River that captures people by its charms of ancient architectures and relaxed atmosphere. From 17th to 19th century, this place was one of the major seaports in Asia where merchants from different corners of the World gathered for business. Surviving from upheavals of the country, Hoi An remains intact and now is one of the biggest attractions in the country. The town also known as the shopping paradise with lots to see and buy especially tailor made clothes.

Get transferred past the busy traffic of Highway 1 to Phan Rang. You will have a stop to visit to the Po Klong Garai Cham towers, one of the most impressive remaining Cham towers in the country. After that, you can choose to start your ride from here on flat road for roughly 40 km or get transferred to the bottom of the Ngoan Muc Pass for a mountain conquer ride.

The road is winding and steep but but it is possible to conquer all the climbs with a steady pace, determination and good use of gears! If you're not so physically inclined then the support bus will be available for a lift. Once you get to the top, you'll be rewarded with magnificent views of mountains and lush green that fills your vision. After a short break and enjoying the view you will continue your way to Da Lat.

With beautiful temperate weather, stunning lakes, elegant colonial buildings, palaces and pagodas dotted on hillside among green trees and blossoms, Da Lat is one of the most delightful destinations in the country. It is also the base to explore the pristine land and culture of minority groups in the region.

Visit to the King Bao Dai’s Palace, a summer palace for the last king of Vietnam; Hang Nga crazy house, a special architecture that crazily combines between modern art and the call of the nature; the Old Da Lat Train station and then the Truc Lam Zen Pagoda overlooking to the beautiful Tuyen Lam Lake.

Get transferred out of teeming traffic of Saigon and cycle your way along the back road to Cu Chi Tunnels passing rice paddies, rubber plantations, green orchards and local villages.

Cu Chi Tunnels is one of the most famous war relics in Vietnam and the World. This underground city stretches over 2 hundreds kilometers in the soil of Cu Chi district, about 75 km northwest of Saigon. Divided into three levels within a complicated system of rat-hole-like tunnels, there were living rooms, fighting bunkers, hospital, military workshops and cinemas with air filters, airtight covers, booby traps and sentries were all part of the system. This was the stronghold of Viet Minh and Viet Cong during the anti French and American Wars… It is the chance for you to creep into a tunnel to experience how the Vietcong lived and fought during this time and learn more about Vietnam War as well as how strong people’s determination can be.

After lunch, continue cycling along country road to Trang Bang and take a cut across country land by to Duc Hoa. Bus transfer to Saigon in the mid afternoon.

Arrival and departure flights:You are advised to make your own booking for international flights from/back your home country. Weather: The weather in this part of Southeast Asia is varied depening on the region and season. In the winter time from Nov to Feb, the temperature in some area such as North Vietnam, especially mountainous areas can be as low as 2-4 Degree Celsius (35 Degree Fahrenheit) and pretty cold. Other parts can be warm with temperature up to 36 Degree Celsius or more (96 Degree Fahrenheit). What to take: What you need to bring will vary according to the trip style you have chosen, the countries you are visiting and when you are travelling. Generally speaking you should pack as lightly as possible. It is advisable to have your backpack or suitcase with wheels. An overnight bag with a shoulder strap or little backpacks is convenient to carry water and a camera etc for day trips. Warm clothes and light jacket are needed for the North Vietnam and northern Lao during the winter time from November to March. Sunblock, swimsuits and a light raincoat is advised all year round.
